Střecha is a plant-based restaurant serving untraditionally traditional Czech food, run as a cooperative social enterprise. The team is made up of people with experience of homelessness or who have served prison sentences, and the restaurant also helps them work through debt, housing and other challenges along the way. Guests can pre-pay a "suspended meal" for someone in financial need, and several everyday services — water, toilets, wifi — are offered free to anyone, no purchase required.
